How do I use Save-a-Watt?
How do I find my appliance’s amperage rating? How do I set the amperage on the Save-a-Watt unit? The unit has a simple slide switch on its side that has three settings. Simply select the setting that fits your appliance’s amperage requirements and slide the switch into place, follow the instructions that come with your Save-a-Watt unit.
What if I have central AC and heating? Neg-a-Watt will soon launch a product specifically designed for large amperage devices such as central air conditioners and pool pumps. This product will offer the same benefits as Save-a-Watt, but on a larger scale. Product installation must be done by a licensed electrician.
